I love Shirley Treavena's work. I love the colors in one of her paintings, and wanted to paint something using these colors. These tulips, up at Lake Tahoe, seemed like the perfect subject! It is pretty small so I couldn't add as many images, etc., as Shirley Treavena, but I am happy with it. Another fun painting!
